I've been feeling the same lately too. You're not alone.

@Dk5 @Ruby26

Hi guys,

We are here for you if you want to chat. Some days are definitely easier than others. Sometimes it can be a real uphill battle.

So true @Dk5 @Ruby26 @Oaktree , some days are just so so tough. There are times when being alone and quiet helps, but there are other times when connecting with others helps.

I know for me, when I felt really bad, I had to push myself to connect with others so that I wouldn't be swallowed up by my own sorry. And I think this is where the forums came in handy. I didn't need to leave the house to connect with people, but I could still be 'around' people.....

What helps you when you are feeling low @Dk5 @Ruby26 ?

Re: Getting back up after some fears and a debilitating conditions plural

@tyme thanks for your support. I'm finding going on long walks, using a meditation app and listening to music has been helping me a lot.

I have felt both overwhelmed by social contact and also lonely and isolated lately. I've enjoyed having social contact at work, but I get so overloaded and exhausted as soon as I'm done.

I went to an art class this week and I found that was a nice level of social contact. I focused on drawing for most of the time, but it was great to be surrounded by people without the pressure to contribute. I've made plans with some friends to go out for lunch tomorrow too.

@Dk5 how are you feeling now? How did the appointment with the surgeon go?

Hey @Ruby26 ,

That sounds great that you find the meditation app, walks etc are helpful. I find those helpful too! As for the stress of socialising, I totally get you! After a short time, I feel 'socialised out'! I'm done and need to spend the rest of the day recuperating.

I think that's why I like the forums. Gives me 'just' enough to socialise, but I can step away if needed.

@Dk5 , what's happening for you? How are you?
