Re: thoughts are coming back

Hey @Suporthe ,

Sorry to hear things are hard at the moment.

I can totally relate to having these thoughts and I can understand that they are not pleasant.

Believe it or not, I'm pretty well, mental-health wise, but I have chronic suicidal thoughts. It sounds odd, but it happens for some people.

When I was distressed about it, my psychologist told me that it's part of my condition, and the more I get distressed about it, the stronger the thoughts come.

So since then, the thoughts are there, but they take the back seat.

Where it becomes an issue is when we actively want to act on them and do so. If this is the case, then it's important to contact crisis services such as:

Lifeline 13 11 14

Suicide Call Back Service 1300 659 467

If unsafe, contact 000

It's important to remember that SANE is not a crisis service, so please reach out to the above if you feel unsafe in anyway.

We hope the forums can be a safe place to connect with other members and work towards your recovery.

You deserve to be supported.
